Start from Uldale village the road south from the village swftly becomes a track to follow to Longlands Hamlet. Then you turn east and walk along the Northern Flanks of the Skiddaw Group of fells, before heading north east towards Caldbeck and following the Cald Beck, picking up the River Caldew and finishing at Hesket Newmarket.

Transport. Uldale and Hesket Newmarkets are void of public transport options.
